Shrimp Scampi Linguini

250g Gusto Nero Linguine 

500 Grams large shrimps, peeled and deveined

5 Cloves of garlic, minced

1/4 Teaspoon dried chilli flakes

1/4 Cup coarsely chopped fresh parsley

1 Teaspoon lemon zest

1 Tablespoon lemon juice

5 Tablespoons of unsalted butter

3 Tablespoons of olive oil: 2 for cooking the shrimps, 1 for the seasoning and some extra to toss with the pasta

1/2 Teaspoon of salt

  1. Bring a saucepan of water to simmer over medium heat, add Gusto Nero linguini Pasta and simmer for 7 minutes. Drain and toss with some olive oil to prevent sticking and set aside.

  2. Heat up 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet (medium heat), add the shrimps and cook on each side for 1 minute. Set aside.

  3. Keep the skillet on medium heat and melt some butter, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic and dried chilli flakes, then sauté for a minute or you can smell the garlic cooking.

  4. Stir in the cooked shrimp, parsley, salt, lemon zest and juice, then stir for 30 seconds. Throw in the linguini and stir for a minute until evenly coated and the pasta is hot.

    Serve warm and enjoy!
